In Taiwan, it is common for students to go to cram schools outside regular school hours. Cram schools can provide students with additional learning opportunities and help them understand certain subjects better. Many cram schools also focus on exam preparation and aim to help students get higher scores. However, attending cram schools puts students under more pressure, which makes some of them less willing to study. For instance, a friend of mine used to struggle with math. Although she put a lot of effort into learning at school, she found it difficult to keep up with others.
