　　Among past winners, one breed of dog stands out. The Chinese Crested dog has won the top honor of the World’s Ugliest Dog more times than any other breed. Described as “adorably ugly,” it has the perfect combination of traits for the annual contest. The breed is small and often has no hair except for a tiny bit of fur on its head, legs, and tail. Its skin can be black, white, pink, or a spotty combination of these. With its large ears and skinny tail, some people say it looks like a dog combined with a rat.
