While Arthur Conan Doyle is known for writing the Sherlock Holmes series, the author appears as the main character in The Improbable Tales of Baskerville Hall. The story begins with Conan Doyle as a young boy living in poverty with his struggling family. Young Arthur is lucky to be selected to attend a special school for clever students. He sees this chance as a way to help his family and joins the school, Baskerville Hall. After arriving, he becomes friends with two other students, Irene and Jimmie, though he also makes a few enemies. Just as Arthur begins to settle in, a series of break-ins, thefts, and creepy events threaten his future at Baskerville Hall.
