Every year, people celebrate their amazing dads on Father’s Day. They often do this by buying them small gifts or taking them out for a meal. However, did you know that different countries celebrate this special day on different dates and sometimes with different traditions? The idea of Father’s Day in the US came about during the early 1900s. The holiday was started by a grateful daughter named Sonora Smart Dodd. Dodd’s father brought her up on his own after her mother died.
