　　In recent years, a continuing trend of rising temperatures has been recorded around the globe. While this has had various effects on the Earth’s weather patterns, the most apparent impact is extreme heat. Events such as heat waves, which are long stretches of dangerously high temperatures, have become more common. They are often made worse by heat domes, which occur when high-pressure systems trap hot air over a region. Being exposed to extreme heat, especially during a heat wave, can be very dangerous to our health.

　　近年來，全球各地都記錄到氣溫持續上升的趨勢。儘管這對地球的天氣模式產生了各種影響，但最明顯的影響是極端高溫。像是熱浪等事件已變得更常見，其為長時間持續的危險高溫。它們往往因為高溫穹頂現象而變得更為嚴重，當高壓系統將熱空氣困在某一區域的上空時，高溫穹頂便會發生。暴露在極端高溫下，尤其是在熱浪發生期間，對我們的健康有很大的危害。
