T: Tom R: Rachel
Tom and Rachel are following the typhoon on the news and discussing what to do once it passes.
T: Wow, Rachel, the wind’s really roaring out there.
R: No kidding! I’m glad we decided to stay home.
T: Did you see the latest news on the typhoon?
R: I did. It’s moving slower than expected, so we might be in for a tough night.
T: Well, at least we’re safe here. I just hope everyone else is OK.
R: Same here. The news said a lot of debris is getting blown into rivers and parks.
T: It’s sad to think about the mess this typhoon will leave behind.
