At the start of the Hamamatsu Festival, groups of men and women in traditional coats gather as if they are preparing for war. The air is filled with the sounds of people playing trumpets and banging on drums. After an opening fireworks ceremony, the kites will make their first flight. Teams run across the field holding the kites’ cords in their hands, using the wind to quickly help their kites sail high into the sky.
濱松祭開幕時，一群男男女女穿著傳統服飾聚集在一起，就像要備戰似的。空氣中充滿著人們吹喇叭及打鼓的聲音。煙火開幕典禮過後，就會讓風箏初次升空。隊伍們手裡拿著風箏線在場地奔跑，藉著風讓風箏快速升空。
