The orphanage is run by Arthur Parnassus and houses six magical children. The group includes a gnome, a fairy, a dragon, a monster, a shapeshifter, and a demon boy. Linus’ job is to investigate the children’s quality of life and determine if they pose a threat to society. At first, he is wary of them. However, as Linus spends more time on the island, he starts to see beyond their magical abilities.
