Over the years, many pets have done silly things like getting themselves stuck in sinkholes, falling off trees while chasing after squirrels, or picking fights with much bigger animals. Past winners and nominees of the award included a cat named Jasper, who went for a wild ride when its owner turned on the washing machine with the cat inside. In 2018, the winners were two German shepherds named Zeus and Ziva. They were trapped in an abandoned missile silo for 21 days before they were rescued.
