Keukenhof is a spring garden and is only open for eight weeks each year, usually between mid-March and mid-May. The best time to see the flowers depends on the growing season for that year. Gardeners plant around seven million bulbs from October to early December of each year to make sure flowers are blooming throughout the park’s opening period. The main attraction for visitors is the annual tulip festival held each spring.
