When it comes to cuteness, few dogs can compete with Shiba Inus. This medium-sized breed is native to Japan. In addition to their cute looks, Shibas are known for their unique personalities. Although they look like cuddly teddy bears, Shibas have the independent and loyal spirit of a samurai. Shiba Inus are one of the oldest dog breeds. Evidence suggests that they existed in Japan as early as 7000 B.C. In the past, Shibas acted as humans’ hunting partners.
