What makes a camel beautiful? First, its beauty must be natural. Many camels are disqualified from the contests every year when their owners are caught using cruel methods to change their appearance. Lips are an important part of a camel’s beauty. In the contest, judges look for a lower lip that hangs down and an upper lip that is clearly separated in the middle. In addition, its eyes should be dark yet sparkle in the light. A beautiful camel should have long, dark eyelashes that help protect its eyes from sand.
