Louis is visiting a florist to buy flowers for Mother’s Day.
L: Hello, I’d like to buy some flowers for my mother.
F: That’s wonderful. What kind would you like?
L: Honestly, I’m not sure. I could use a little advice. Should I give her roses?
F: Roses usually express romantic interest. Another flower might be better.
L: I see. What flowers are most popular for Mother’s Day?
F: Well, carnations are the official Mother’s Day flower, but there are plenty of other options.
L: Hmm... it’s hard to decide what to pick.
