高橋得獎照片名為「冬天」，提供給主辦單位、對照片的說明文字只有寥寥數語「它呈現一個下雪天」。他說自己拍照時總是牢牢記住「希望我的照片能讓你微笑，並感覺更好」這個給自己的座右銘。

「自然風景攝影獎」指高橋近年在各國際攝影獎有所斬獲，今年5月在老家山形開了個展，約700人參觀。
