Apple 放上的照片是維爾丁（Dorothy Wilding）在 1952 年 2 月 26 日所拍攝，當時正值伊麗莎白二世女王即位。伊麗莎白二世女王是英國在位時間最久的君主，長達 70 年，於 9/8 週四下午在蘇格蘭莊園安詳的辭世。
在 Apple 官網頁面上還寫上了「紀念，伊麗莎白二世女王殿下，1926-2022」表達追思。Apple 過去也曾使用官網致敬國會議員、民權運動家，以及像 Apple 創辦人賈伯斯等。
